Claire Mechan
Owner & Principal Consultant — AILM Resiliency Consulting Agency
Claire Mechan is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with over a decade of leadership experience spanning government, education, and private consulting. She holds a Master of Arts in Disaster and Emergency Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, and has held senior roles with the Government of Yukon, NAIT, and the City of Edmonton.
In 2020 Claire launched AILM Resiliency Consulting Agency, bringing practical, people-first resilience solutions to organizations navigating complex risk environments. She is an active contributor to the industry through speaking engagements, publications, and standards development, and currently serves on the Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI) Canada Board of Directors.
Claire believes that resilience is built through relationships, preparation, and the courage to lead when it matters most.
Amber Rushton
Founder & CEO — Traverse Analytics Inc.
Amber Rushton brings more than 20 years of experience in emergency management, business continuity, and risk management to every conversation. She holds a master’s degree in Public Safety, multiple post-graduate certifications, and advanced professional designations including MBCP, ICS 400, and PIO, along with extensive fire and life safety credentials.
As Founder and CEO of Traverse Analytics Inc., Amber provides strategic vision and leadership to organizations across the globe — leveraging data-driven insight to help them adapt, grow, and remain competitive in an ever-changing risk landscape. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex resilience challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
Amber is passionate about elevating the next generation of women in emergency management and bringing their stories to a wider audience.
